Clare Crawford – Licensed Neurolanguage Coaching Teacher Trainer

  • Certified Professional Neurolanguage Coach and Trainer®
  • Certified Professional Coach – (RNCP Niv. 1) ICN 2016
  • Advanced Skills Teacher, Westminster Education Consultants 2004
As a Neurolanguage Coach, Clare specialises in the development of professional English and communication skills in corporate and institutional environments, with career experience gained over three decades.

Following her graduation in Film and Literature from the University of Warwick, Clare spent 7 years working in corporate marketing departments and PR agencies before returning to university for her Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education as an English teacher in UK state-owned and private schools.

Teaching 11-18 years olds “forced” to study English language and literature, gave Clare insight and expertise into a variety of strategies to engage learners in their learning and handling of all the powerful and complex communicative tools available to them.

Clare became an Advanced Skills Teacher in the United Kingdom in 2004 and spent the next 5 years carrying out action research projects on learner motivation and the integration of new technologies in the classroom. She also mentored trainee and newly qualified teachers in their classroom practice.

When she moved to France in 2009, Clare also made the move to teaching EAL to adults, working in research laboratories, heavy and light industries, business schools, HR consultancies and the European institutions in Luxembourg. It very quickly became evident that adult learners also needed a non traditional approach to language learning for professional purposes, and Clare’s growing interest and experience in coaching methodologies led her to Neurolanguage Coaching in 2016.

She has delivered the Language Coaching Certification in both French and English since 2019 and has also had the pleasure and privilege of mentoring newly qualified Neurolanguage Coaches. Clare continues to work with her own coachees, both in face-to-face and online group and individual sessions. Clare considers herself as a «late-developer», learning her second language in her 40s but thanks to NLC, she has caught the language learning bug and she is currently learning German. www.clarelanguage.com.
