“I found the course very interesting, especially in how it approached the coach/Coachee relationship. In my experience as a teacher, I’ve always tried to personalize my lessons. But my role was always that of a teacher. In this course, I learned that the teacher should ‘do less’ and the student should ‘do more.’ Why should I choose the topic, materials, and themes to discuss? Wouldn’t it be better for the student to choose? Clearly, this is harder in a classroom with a set manual, but something can be done. I really like the idea of Zoom breakout rooms! I’d use more, they are really useful. When talking about the brain and dopamine, I’d also add some physical exercise to the sessions. For example, after 30 minutes, stand up, take a walk around the room, and then return to your seat. Speaking of Daniela, I find her very professional and capable of delivering motivating responses.”
